The preview at the end of volume five of Chevalier turns the burlesque leprechaun lolita from the last volume into a bondage lingerie pirate. I'm mentioning this upfront because it is, in a way, critical to understanding the book's audience. If you read that sentence and fled screaming, then I've done my job.
